The GWArchive solution is modular and can be implemented as a whole or based on your particular needs:

• The GWArchive Policy Manager enhances the native GroupWise archiving features for greater manageability and provides the levers for the enforcement of a corporate archiving policy.

• The Policy Manager's publishing capability solves the problem of information access, whether it is for regulatory compliance, legal requirements, or internal auditing, by providing a publishing piece that automatically copies the contents of a user’s mailbox into an external XML-based file, which may be searched globally by administrators or records management personnel.

• A complete auditing system is built into the exported account to track access to published accounts and messages

• The Policy Processor exports GroupWise Mailboxes and/or Archives to XML format.

• Searching tools for searching, restoring, and viewing archived and published messages are provided.

• The GWArchive Storage Manager manages your files by applying hierarchical storage management rules and automatically migrating files to other distributed media in a centralised storage location.
