Formerly known as Tarantella, Secure Global Desktop can web-enable legacy applications quickly without expensive redevelopment.

Moving applications off dispersed desktop and laptop computers and centralising them into the data center increases application availability, and the security features of SGD ensure that only users with the proper credentials and privileges can access applications and data.

Users can access applications and data on Windows, Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP-UX, AS/400 and Mainframe platforms, all at the same time, from nearly any client device or location.

Sun SGD is an approved MOD solution and Blueloop has assisted with SGD implementations and support since the product was launched as Tarantella.
