TreeCast

TreeCast integrates with the Novell GroupWise collaboration and email system and with Novell eDirectory. Treecast allows the sharing of multiple folders with end user accounts, while maintaining a common hierarchical structure of the shared folders. TreeCast allows saving shared folder trees and assigning them to Group objects in eDirectory. Group membership will determine who will receive which shared folders. Adding a user to a group will cause TreeCast to share the folder tree assigned to that group with the user. Similarly, removing a user from a group will (optionally) revoke that user's right to the group's shared folder tree.

TreeCast also supports rebuilding damaged, deleted, renamed or moved folders or entire folder trees, either by the end user or by a TreeCast administrator.

TreeCast adds an important set of features to the GroupWise product, enabling organisations to implement low cost, effective knowledge & information management systems that are part of the organisations eDirectory based provisioning solution.
