eCONTROL Modules
eCONTROL is composed of five components: the eControl Proxy Server component and four separate "ZERO RIGHTS" Modules. Each of the modules is sold on a per user basis. Pricing is based on industry type.

eCONTROL HelpDesk User Management (HD)
Provides web-based Help Desk User Management tasks for Novell eDirectory/NDS, GroupWise and NetMail. Options include allowing eCONTROL Operators to change GroupWise and eDirectory/NDS passwords, create users controlled by templates, manage GroupWise Distribution Lists, eDir/NDS group membership and much more. Complete granular control (including restricting access to individual GroupWise Post Offices) is provided through the eCONTROL ZERO RIGHTS Proxy Platform. You control "who can do what" with NO eDirectory or GroupWise Trustee Assignments! Access rights are managed through our trusted eCONTROL service and administration interface.

eCONTROL User Self Service (USS)
Allows you to configure eDirectory/NDS and/or GroupWise values that can be self-serviced by users. Includes ability to change passwords through the web interface and use the "forgot your password" option to allow users to reset their passwords from a browser - based on challenge/response "secret answers". The GroupWise User Self Service options include allowing users to Subscribe/Unsubscribe from GroupWise Distribution Lists. USS can be configured to allow users to update their own demographic information.

eCONTROL Contact Lookup (CL)
Turns eCONTROL into an advanced phone book based on information from eDirectory. Includes the ability to publish "hidden" eDirectory values like Mobile Phone Number and other extended schema attributes. Looking for an orgranisation chart? You can choose to make this information available on your internal or public web site. Think of eCONTROL as the ultimate eDirectory/LDAP aware Phone Book. (Available in version 2.x)

eCONTROL Account Create/Manage (AC)
Allows Help Desk Operators, junior administrators, HR personnel, or anyone who receives the appropriate eCONTROL task authorities to create pre-defined users (controlled by eDirectory templates and eCONTROL profiles). The pre-configured values include all eDirectory, home directory and GroupWise values. eCONTROL Auto-Account Create allows users to sign up and self-subscribe/auto-create an eDirectory, GroupWise and/or NetMail account from the eCONTROL web page for subscription services. (Available in version 2.x.)
