with the ability to intelligently index the content and manage the retention period of the message and all
attachments.
Recent research from the Radicati Group, Inc. has shown that a typical corporate email account sends and
receives about 10 MB of data per day. With a company of 1000 users, that's an average of 200 GB per month.
Corporate email servers are simply not designed to store such massive amounts of data for long periods of
time. By 2008, it is expected to rise to 15.8 MB per user, per day.

Assentor Archive's flexibility allows for different alternatives for capturing email flow:
• Mail capture from Exchange, Notes and GroupWise for inbound, outbound and internal
• SMTP Intercept for inbound and outbound only
It supports Exchange, Notes, GroupWise and other popular email services, such as Bloomberg, as well as all
corporate and consumer IM products.
